Production Description:

Threading fluid is a metal processing fluid designed for surface grinding machines, which effectively controls thermal deformation and improves surface quality while providing high-precision grinding. Its main advantages are reflected in cooling, lubrication, anti-corrosion, cleaning and other aspects, suitable for precise flat processing of various materials.


Advantages and features:

1.Excellent cooling properties

During surface grinding, the high-speed friction between the grinding wheel and the workpiece produces a lot of heat. The coolant quickly dissipates heat through the circulation flow, effectively reducing the temperature in the grinding area, preventing parts from burning, cracking, or deforming due to overheating.

Compared to traditional oil-based refrigerants, the cooling efficiency of some high-performance refrigerants (e.g. water-based synthetic fluids) has improved by more than 30%.

Effective lubricating and anti-friction effects

The extreme pressure additive in the coolant forms a lubricating film on the grinding surface, reducing the coefficient of friction between the grinding wheel and the workpiece, reducing the grinding force, thereby prolonging the life of the grinding wheel and improving the surface quality of the part.

Experiments have shown that the use of coolant containing additives with extreme pressure can reduce grinding wheel wear by 20 to 40%.

3. Excellent cleaning and chip removal ability

The coolant flow can wash away the metal debris and abrasive particles falling out of the grinding wheel during grinding in a timely manner, prevent the grinding wheel from clogging, and maintain the stable grinding efficiency.

In high-speed grinding (e.g. linear speed > 50 m/s), its cleaning effect is particularly noticeable, reducing scratches caused by the accumulation of debris on the surface of the product.

Application scenarios:

1. High precision surface grinding

Suitable for precision machining of high hardness materials such as mold steel and hard alloys, such as mold inserts and surface grinding of optical component substrates.

The coolant needs to have low foaming and high cleanliness to ensure that the surface roughness of the workpiece reaches Ra0.1 μ m or less.

2. Efficient mass production

In the batch processing of automotive components (such as engine blocks, brake discs) and hydraulic components, coolant needs to balance cooling, lubrication, and chip removal performance to improve production speed.

It is recommended to use high concentration water-based coolant (concentration 5% -10%) to adapt to high flow and high pressure cooling systems.

3. Grinding of difficult to machine materials

For difficult to cut materials such as titanium alloys and high-temperature alloys, the coolant needs to enhance its extreme pressure lubrication performance to reduce grinding wheel adhesion and workpiece surface thermal damage.

Typical applications include precision grinding of turbine blades and discs in the aerospace industry.
